NETC is a qualified employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time at NETC. To qualify for PSLF, you must:
- be employed by a U.S. federal, state, local, or tribal government or not-for-profit organization (federal service includes U.S. military service)
- work full-time for that agency or organization
- have Direct Loans (or consolidate other federal student loans into a Direct Loan)
- repay your loans under an income-driven repayment plan*
- make 120 qualifying payments

Worker’s Compensation
If an employee sustains a work-related injury requiring medical treatment, the employee must inform their supervisor right away. The supervisor is responsible for contacting CompEndium to initiate the workers' compensation claim. If the supervisor cannot be reached, Human Resources must be contacted immediately.

When contacting CompEndium:
- Provide your name and the company name (Northeastern Technical College).
- Inform the representative that you are reporting a workplace injury.
- A Medical Manager Nurse Consultant will collect details about the injury, including the employee's name and specifics of the incident. You may be asked to transfer the call to the injured employee or provide a direct contact number.
- CompEndium will assist the employee in selecting an approved physician and scheduling an appointment. If necessary, the employee will be directed to the nearest Emergency Room (ER).
Human Resources must be notified of all work-related injuries as soon as possible, but no later than the next business day.
