Riechers Participates in ITC Panel Discussion

Derk Riechers, NETC Director of Modalities, participated in the Instructional Technology Council's (ITC) first Covid-19 Webinar. ITC organized the webinar to provide a space where members could share their successes during the pandemic. Riechers, along with other board members, shared lessons they learned over the past six months related to implementing instructional technology in Higher Education. Panelists spoke candidly about the challenges they faced and how they navigated those situations. Participants gained strategies they could implement back at their institutions to find success.

"It was an honor to be invited to participate in this three-panel discussion as an active board member to share key insights on online education and strategic planning to ITC members and other guests," Riechers said. Riechers will be participating in another presentation titled Leadership During a Crisis on October 13.

ITC is working to raise awareness about the benefits of distance learning, instructional telecommunications, and future needs and possibilities. ITC provides exceptional Leadership and professional development to its network of eLearning experts by advocating, collaborating, researching, and sharing exemplary, innovative practices and potential in learning technologies.
