• Expanded academic options for high school students planning to attend NETC or a 4-year institution following high school graduation.
• Reduction of the duplicate courses between high school and college curricula.
• Fast completion of advanced studies to earn a Bachelor's degree or technical certificate.
• Access to and preparation for the workforce.
• Significant savings in the cost of higher education at 4-year institutions.

This handbook is designed to answer questions about the requirements, expectations, processes, and services available to high school/college students through the Northeastern Technical College 2022 Dual Education Plan of Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment. This handbook includes information for students and parents.

Students will find new opportunities for growth, new responsibilities for education, and success with college courses while having the support of high school and NETC resources.

Parents will see their children taking a more active role in their education including communication with college faculty, increased independent work, and an introduction to meeting the expectations of college instructors.
